Value has Three Legs.

At the grocery store the cost of peanut butter has gone up and so has orange juice. Little Debbie’s Oatmeal Cream Pies haven’t gotten more expensive, but they’re smaller. What’s not only held its price but upped its value?

Tripods.

I give you snowy night time photography.

Shots in the Dark

The other night while hunting werewolves I managed to snap a few street scenes. Although the pursuit proved uneventful, I was satisfied with the images. I strongly recommend everyone else get out there to shoot and capitalize on the warm nights before the cold gets here. Please let me know where I can see your work.

The Winter

While shooting yesterday, a man approached me and asked:

“Are you taking pictures of that?”

“Yes”, I said.

“Why?”

“… why not?”

The ability to take a picture is almost always the push of a button away. Society is so saturated with images that it’s easy to forget photography is a way to share a view rather than capture a moment.

Below are some images I’ve made this winter. They, and more, are for sale and can be seen here.

Icy hot.

My father has always enjoyed photographing wooded winter landscapes, while I like more urban and abstract scenes. The sun broke through the clouds yesterday just before sunset, allowing me to capture the winter woods as I see them (and then some).
